SRV Furnace  (Smelt Reduction Vessel)
SRV furnace is Key equipment to smelt and reduce iron in whole HIsmelt technology. The equipment includes a cylinder, a cooling wall in slag zone and a precell. The cylinder contains furnace and the gas chamber. The diameter of the straight segment is Φ 9280 mm and the gas diameter chamber is Φ 5260.

Application

 The SRV furnace tranformsiron ore into molten cast iron water with the injection of pulverized coal, air, steam and iron ore. The slag area cooler of the SRV furnace can enhance cooling intensity, promote slag formation, effectively protect the refractory material. Refractory material can broaden the range of slag composition, lower the standards of MgO content in the slag, and increase service life of the refractory material at the same time reduce the equipment cost.
